The Plan determined the trail alignment, trailhead areas and access points for Phoenixville’s section of the Schuylkill River Heritage Trail, a National Heritage Trail proposed along the Schuylkill River from Philadelphia to Pottsville.

The Plan determined the alignment of the trail through French Creek Center, a proposed mixed-use redevelopment project on the 120-acre former Phoenix Steel Site, and a major revitalization initiative for the Borough. Once complete, the trail is anticipated to draw tens of thousand of users to the Borough per year.

Open Space and Recreation Plan Update for East Vincent Township.  The Plan identified areas of  the Township with special scenic or environmental significance, that could be linked through a  Township trail system.  The Plan recommends trail corridor alignments and the types of trails to be  developed, including paved multi-use trails, bicycle lanes and signed bicycle routes.

The Plan also  determined the appropriate design for each type of trail facility, including surface type, width, areas  that would require special engineering and right-of-way needs.  A phased construction plan and  costs estimates for implementation of each phase of the construction plan was also provided.

The project included the preparation of a residential build-out analysis. GIS analysis was used in conjunction with detailed property data to determine how the Township may be developed in the future according to current zoning regulations and available developable land.

This analysis provided the ability to make recommendations regarding zoning amendments. The comprehensive plan also recommended potential areas for bikeways, walking paths, bike paths, and multi-use trail corridors. Recommendations for land use, housing, transportation, historic, scenic and natural resources and community facilities were also provided.

Worked with Oxford Main Street, Inc. (OMI) to develop a Business Improvement District Plan for the Borough of Oxford.
